A silent disco is an event where people dance to music broadcasted through wireless silent disco headphones, as opposed to a speaker system.

 

Only the people wearing headphones hear the music being played, making it an awesome choice for venues with noise constraints. This creates a club-like atmosphere where you can still hold a conversation at a normal volume.

 

Silent parties can be as simple as setting up different playlists on different devices (up to three), so everyone can jam out to one of three choices of music. If you want to take things to the next level, you can have live DJs competing and let your audience tune into their favorite one.

We specialize in providing you with everything you need to host a successful silent disco, quiet rave, or other silent party experience. As one of the longest-running silent disco rental companies in the business, we know our stuff. If you are renting, your equipment will arrive one to two days before your event. This gives you plenty of time to get familiar with the equipment and setup instructions. If you have anything you’re unsure about, you can always reach out to us. We’re always happy to help!

After the event, simply repack the equipment, place the included return shipping label on the case, and call FedEx to schedule a pickup for the next business day following your event. You can also drop the gear off at a local FedEx location if that is easier. Then, email your assigned customer excitement specialist, letting us know the package is being returned.

We have a standard replacement fee of $30 to $120 for missing or damaged headphones. Replacement of any of our music transmitters will range between $140 to $275. We always recommend having good security measures in place to deter theft and damage during the event.

 

If you prefer to cover yourself in the case of damage, loss, or theft, consider adding an event rental insurance plan to your order.

Our standard quote covers usage for a single-day event, with the headphones being returned the following business day. For longer events, we offer consecutive-day pricing between $2 to $6 per headphone for each additional day of use.

 

The headphones arrive fully charged, with approximately 8–10 hours of battery life. So if you are having a multiple-day event, you may need to recharge the headphones in between, using the charging stations included with every multi-day order.

 

We also have weekly rates available for longer events and offer long-term leases when you simply want a hands-off silent disco party experience throughout the year.

We accept various payment methods, including all major credit cards, ACH payments, partial reservation deposits, purchase orders, and other flexible payment plans to suit your needs. You can choose to pay a 50% deposit to secure a reservation if you are unable to pay the total amount up front. The remaining 50% is due seven days prior to your event date is due before the listed ship date and is required before the equipment can be shipped. We typically need 10-14 days of lead time before your event to process the order on time.

No, our silent disco rental doesn’t include a DJ or staff. We aim to keep it affordable, so we give you all the essential equipment, and you can bring your own DJ or just plug in your MP3 player tablet, laptop, or any other device that supports a headphone jack. Your staff or volunteers can help manage the event—no tech skills needed!

 

We also provide on-call customer support on the day of your event. Should there be any questions or problems that arise, we’ll be happy to resolve them.

One of the best parts of a silent disco party is everyone can listen to their music channel of choice. If you have multiple DJs or MP3 players devices, you can stream up to three stations, letting your guests pick their favorites.

To host a successful silent disco party, you’ll need the following:

 

  1. Silent disco headphones. Get enough silent disco wireless headphones for each of your guests.
  2. Silent disco transmitter. You’ll need at least one of these. We include three with our rentals for up to three different music channels.
  3. Music. A simple iPod or MP3 player laptop or tablet will work! If you want to up your party game, you can have up to three DJs battle live.

 

Partygoers. Don’t worry if they have never experienced a silent party before. Once your first guest puts on a pair of silent disco headphones, everyone will soon follow to find out what the hype is all about.
